Exploring the Clinician Dashboard

After successfully logging on to the ca.pulsewavedx.com website you are taken to the Clinician Dashboard page. The Clinician Dashboard contains a summary of your active client's most recent readings. This article provides a brief overview of the Dashboard page.

1. Clinician Dashboard Overview

The Clinician Dashboard Home page is designed to give the clinician or care coordinator a full overview of all the clients (patients) he/she is tasked with managing at any given time. From the home screen you can view 100+ patients at a glance.

2. Dashboard Tab/ Client Summary

In the Clinician Dashboard there are four tabs: 'General', Anomalies','Other','Survey'

General Tab: Hosts Notifications for all vital signs and the Blood Pressure compliance and readings.

Anomalies Tab: Displays a summary of Pulsewave (retired) anomaly scores for all active clients within the specified Reading Range time period.

Other Tab: Displays oximeter, body weight, body temperature and glucose meter readings.

Surveys Tab: Displays Survey Compliance results specific to the reading range.

3. Reading Range and Group Filters

Using the Reading Range and Patient Group dropdowns, you can easily filter the Clinician Dashboard to support your day-to-day monitoring workflow.

Reading Range
The Reading Range filter displays patients who have submitted readings within the selected timeframe. It also controls which reading values appear on the dashboard and determines the calculated Average, Minimum, and Maximum values shown for each metric.

Patient Group
The Patient Group filter allows you to view patients within the groups you have access to. By default, the filter is set to All Groups. When you select a specific group, the dashboard updates to display only patients from that group. Your selected Patient Group remains applied throughout your active session, even if you navigate away from the dashboard. Once you log out, the filter resets to All Groups the next time you log in.

4. Exploring the General Tab

The General tab is the primary workspace for patient monitoring. It prioritizes notifications for all vital signs, provides visibility into any manual notes added to the patient profile, and offers an overview of blood pressure compliance and recent readings.

4.1. Bell Symbol

The 'Bell' symbol indicates an active Notification. A Flashing Bell indicates a New Notification, while a Solid Bell indicates a Notification that is actively being resolved.

Clicking on the Bell symbol will reveal a list of recent notifications for that patient. You can manage the notifications from here.

4.2. Compliance Symbol

The 'Compliance' symbol allows you to determine if the patient is compliant for that day for the specific vital sign.

TIP: Compliance is based on a 24 hour period and refreshes daily at 12:00 AM. All patients will be listed as non-compliant until they take their first reading for the day.

4.3. Notes Symbol

Within the reading range selected, if there has been a manual note added to the patient's profile, the Note symbol will appear on the dashboard. To view the note, select the Notes Symbol.

4.4. Understanding a Client's Reading History

Clicking on the '>' symbol next to a patient's name will expand a client's reading history and display all readings from the specified reading range. The 'General Tab' will host all Blood Pressure Readings, while the 'Other Tab' will host all other vital signs.

From a client's reading history you can review:

  • Reading Details (time stamp, trend, and value)
  • The 'Note' field where the user or caregiver may have recorded a note on the reading.

4.5. Exploring an Individual Reading

Click on any specific Reading to go to a Summary page for that Reading.

5. Exploring the Other Tab

Within the Other tab of the Clinical Dashboard, you can access compliance and readings for oximeter (SpO₂), body weight, body temperature, and glucose. This tab provides quick visibility into the most recent reading as well as the minimum or maximum value for each reading type, based on the selected reading range.

Any filters applied on the Clinician Dashboard (such as Reading Range or Patient Group) are also applied to the Other tab. To view all available readings for a patient within the selected timeframe, select the dropdown triangle beside the patient’s name.

6. Exploring the Survey Tab

The Survey tab provides visibility into survey compliance for each patient. Compliance is calculated based on the selected Reading Range, allowing you to quickly understand how consistently a patient has completed their assigned surveys during that timeframe.

Within this tab, a legend is displayed to help interpret survey status:

  • Pending – Survey not submitted; due today or in the future
  • Scheduled – Survey not submitted; due date is in the future
  • Expired – Survey not submitted; due date has passed
  • Completed – Survey submitted on or before the due date

Additionally, by selecting the dropdown arrow beside a patient’s name, you can access the most recent surveys, view their current status, see the last submitted date and timestamp, and review the most recent survey score (if applicable).

This view helps clinicians quickly identify outstanding, overdue, and completed surveys at a glance.
