Exploring Allergies and Intolerances Add-On Feature
This article will guide you through the Allergies and Intolerances feature available within the Cloud DX Connected Health Clinical Portal.

This is a paid add-on feature and requires the New Patient Profile View to be used. Please connect with your DST representative to learn more about pricing, training requirements, and how to enable it for your team.
1. Accessing Patient Allergies and Intolerances
Adding and modifying patient allergies and intolerances is done on a per patient basis. To add an allergy or intolerance to a patient account select and open the patient profile from the Patient Tab or the Main Dashboard.
Within the Patient Profile select Quick Actions, Allergies and Intolerances
2. Adding a New Allergy or Intolerance
To add a new Allergy or Intolerance, select Add Allergy/Intolerance
A pop-up will appear, enabling the clinician to log the Allergy or Intolerance:
- Status: Determine the status of the allergy and mark the new Allergy or Intolerance as Active, Inactive, or Resolved.
- Type: Identify the entry as an Allergy or Intolerance
- Code: Start to type the name of Allergy or Intolerance (first 3 characters at minimum) and all applicable options will appear, select the appropriate Allergy or Intolerance from the list.
- Recorded Date: Optional, log when this Allergy was recorded. It will default to today .
- Last Occurrence: Optional, log when the last occurrence has occurred if known.
- Note: Optional, add any notes pertaining to the allergy or intolerance.
Once complete, click Save.
3. Edit or Delete listed Allergies and Intolerances
To edit or delete a listed Allergy or Intolerance, select the 3 lines beside the Allergy or Intolerance that you are looking to modify.
To adjust/edit a logged Allergy or Intolerance, select Edit. Update the Allergy or Intolerance and select Save.
To Delete the logged Allergy or Intolerance, select Delete. A pop up will appear asking you to Cancel or Delete.
Once you select Delete, the Allergy/Intolerance will be removed from the patients profile.
