Exploring Wound Care Photos
This manual will guide you on the Wound Photo feature from both the patient and clinical perspectives. The Wound photo feature allows a patient to easily take a wound photo and upload it directly to the Clinician Dashboard.
Wound Care Photos- Patient Perspective
The patient can capture a Wound Photo from the Take a Reading tab and during a Video Consult from the Connected Health Application.
Wound photos via Take a Reading
The patient will tap Take a Reading, Wound Photo to take a wound photo.
Wound Care Photos during a Video Consult
During the Video Consult, the patient can easily access their camera by tapping Take Photo. This will then put the App into camera mode to take a photo.
Capturing a Wound Care Photo
Have the patient focus on their wound; if they need to switch between the front and the back camera, they can tap the icon circled in red.
Once the patient has a good view of the wound, they can tap the white button circled in blue to capture the photo.
When the photo is successfully captured, the patient will receive a pop-up showing the number of images that have been uploaded.
Once the wound photos have been successfully uploaded, the patient can select Video Consult to return to the video call or Back to return to the Connected Health Application.
Wound Care Photo's - Clinical Perspective
Once the patient takes a wound photo using the Connected Health Application, it will automatically upload to their patient documents within the patient profile.
If a new wound care photo is available, the Documents Tab, Wound Care Tab, and the recent photo will have a dot in front of the title.
