🔧 Improvements & Enhancements
We’ve made enhancements based on your feedback.
Quick Access to Support
We’ve introduced a new Support button in the Connected Health App to make help easier to access from anywhere in the app. Patients can now quickly open support resources without needing to log out or search through menus.
What’s New
A question mark icon now appears in the top app header, beside the existing menu button. Selecting this icon takes the user directly to the existing Support page. This enhancement gives patients faster access to support information while staying within their current workflow. It reduces the steps needed to find help and makes support more visible throughout the app.
Tips
- The Support button is available on all screens that use the standard app header
- The button is designed to remain clear and accessible across portrait and landscape orientations, including on smaller screens and with larger accessibility text settings
- If a user is already on the Support page, selecting the button again will not open duplicate pages
Support Page Enhancements: Device Enrollment and Quick Support Access
We’ve enhanced the Support page in the Connected Health App to provide patients with faster, more direct access to key support tools. Two new options have been added to help streamline device setup and real-time assistance when working with the Cloud DX Support Team.
What’s New
Two new tiles are now available on the Support page:
- Device Enrollment
Provides direct access to the Knox Enrollment page, allowing patients to complete device setup quickly when guided by support. - Quick Support
Links directly to the TeamViewer setup page, enabling patients to quickly grant access to the Cloud DX Support Team for real-time assistance, without needing to log out.
Tips
- The Device Enrollment and Quick Support tiles follow the same familiar design as other support tiles
- Tiles are fully responsive and remain easy to view and use across different screen sizes and orientations
- Navigation is seamless and does not interrupt your session within the app
- Accessibility features are supported, including high contrast settings
- A support contact message is now displayed on the Support page for quick access to assistance
Manual Entry Enhancement: Unit Selection Now Available In-Line
We’ve enhanced the manual entry experience in the Connected Health App to make it faster and more intuitive for patients to record their readings.
What’s New
Patients can now change the unit of measure directly on the manual entry screen for the following measurements:
- Weight (kg, lb)
- Temperature (°C, °F)
- Glucose (mmol/L, mg/dL)
A unit selector is now available beside the input field, eliminating the need to navigate to Settings.
How It Helps
This update allows patients to:
- Enter readings more quickly without leaving the entry screen
- Reduce errors by confirming or adjusting units at the point of entry
- Maintain a smoother, more efficient workflow when logging measurements
Tips
- The unit selector will default to your currently saved preference
- Changing the unit will immediately update the input label and validation ranges
- Any changes you make are saved automatically and applied to future readings and displays
- Bluetooth device readings are not affected and will continue to function as usual
- Always confirm the unit matches your device:
“Important note: Confirm the unit matches your device.”
Glucose Entry Validation Enhancement: Improved Accuracy and Error Messaging
We’ve enhanced the manual glucose entry experience in the Connected Health App to help prevent incorrect readings and reduce the risk of false alerts being sent to care teams.
What’s New
The app now provides clear, unit-specific validation and error messaging when entering glucose values that fall outside the valid range for the selected unit of measure.
What to Expect
- The app enforces valid input ranges based on the selected unit:
- mmol/L: 0.6 – 33.3
- mg/dL: 11 – 600
- If a value falls outside the valid range, a clear message will appear:
- “This value is not valid for [unit]. Expected range is [range].”
- Invalid values cannot be entered or submitted
- Readings that do not meet validation are not saved, sent, or used to trigger alerts
Tips
- Validation occurs in real time as values are entered
- Bluetooth readings are not affected by this change
🐞 Fixes
We’ve resolved the following issues to ensure a smoother experience.
| Issue | Fix | Additional Info | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| High Contrast Login Screen Crash | Intermittent issue (Fixed) | Resolved an issue where the app could crash on the login screen when high contrast mode was enabled. This fix improves stability by ensuring proper context handling during screen loading, preventing the crash from occurring. | ||
| Clinical Photo Capture Flash Display | Intermittent issue (Fixed) | Resolved an issue where the screen briefly flashed red when capturing a clinical photo. The capture experience has been improved to remove the visual flash, providing a smoother and more consistent user experience. |
