Cloud DX is actively enhancing our platform, with an exciting lineup of new features and improvements planned for the year ahead. To ensure a smooth transition and optimal support, all major new feature releases will now be hidden by default when first launched. This approach allows our clinical teams time to review the updates, assess any training needs, and collaborate with your DST representative to create a tailored rollout plan.
Once your clinic is ready and you’ve given us the green light, we’ll activate the new feature in your clinical portal. Additionally, each new feature release will be clearly tagged to indicate whether it is a hidden feature awaiting your approval, or if it is a new paid add-on feature, so you’ll always know what’s available and what steps to take next.

3. 🔧 Improvements & Enhancements
We’ve made several enhancements based on your feedback.
3.1. Enforcement of Unique Patient ID's
🔒 Hidden Feature Release
This feature is currently hidden and pending activation. Please review with your DST representative to determine readiness and training needs. Once approved, it will be enabled for your clinic.
To further improve patient record accuracy and reduce duplication, we’re enhancing the Patient ID functionality within the Connected Health Platform.
🔐 What’s Changing:
- Patient IDs will now be enforced as unique within each clinic.
- When onboarding a new patient, if the entered Patient ID matches an existing patient's ID, the system will display an error message indicating that the Patient ID is already in use.
⚠️ What This Means for Clinicians:
This new validation will help ensure cleaner data and support accurate tracking across the platform. If you encounter a duplicate Patient ID error, you’ll be prompted to:
-
Confirm whether there is a typo or data entry error in the new or existing patient's ID
OR
- Recognize that the patient may have previously participated in the program — in which case, you can simply move them back to an active group and re-initiate their care without creating a duplicate profile.
3.2. Patient Summary Report- Date Ranges
🔒 Hidden Feature Release
This feature is currently hidden and pending activation of the New Patient Profile View. Please review with your DST representative to determine readiness and training needs. Once approved, it will be enabled for your clinic.
We’re excited to share an enhancement to the Patient Summary Reports—making it even easier for clinicians to generate and share meaningful patient data directly from the new Patient Profile View.
📄 What’s New:
- Patient Summary Reports are now accessible from the Quick Actions dropdown within the New Patient Profile View, providing faster, more intuitive access.
- Clinicians can now select a custom date range for the readings included in the report—no longer limited to a single day.
- Reports include vital sign readings along with clinical notes, enabling more comprehensive documentation.
💡 Why It Matters:
This update allows clinicians to quickly generate tailored reports that reflect a broader clinical picture. Reports can be:
- Shared with care teams to support coordinated care.
- Uploaded to EMRs to ensure up-to-date documentation.

3.3. Vital Sign and Survey Charts
We’re pleased to announce a valuable enhancement to the Patient Charts feature, making clinical data review faster, clearer, and more actionable.
📊 What’s New:
- Timestamps will now be displayed on all graph entries, giving clinicians greater precision when reviewing vital sign trends.
- Blood Pressure graphs have been updated with enhanced colour coding, making it easier to distinguish between Systolic and Diastolic readings at a glance.
💡 Why It Matters:
These updates improve data visibility and support quicker clinical assessments by:
- Providing clear time-based context for each reading
- Reducing confusion with visually distinct BP values, ensuring more accurate interpretationPatient Graphs have

3.4. Patient Web Portal
As part of our continued focus on data consistency and clinical accuracy, an update is being made to the Patient Facing Web Portal.
🔒 What’s Changing:
- Patients will no longer be able to edit their Display Name within the Patient Web Portal.
- This change ensures that names remain consistent across all clinical documentation and internal systems.
💡 Why It Matters:
Restricting edits to Display Names helps:
- Maintain data integrity across the platform
- Prevent confusion in care coordination and record keeping
- Ensure alignment with clinic-entered patient information
