Getting Started: Setting Up Your Connected Health Station

This article will show you how to setup, and start using your Connected Health devices.

1. Creating Your Connected Health Station

Choose the best place to assemble your Health Station. We suggest:

  • Placing the devices on a table or desk approx. 29” (74 cm) high
  • Keeping products out of bright sunlight
  • Using a standard dining or desk chair
  • Choosing a location close to a standard power outlet
  • You must have Wi-Fi internet access and know the password (if applicable)

2. Unbox Devices

Unbox all your Connected Health Kit Devices. Your kit comes with all Bluetooth devices paired to your tablet and batteries installed.

3. Setup Example

The below picture is a perfect example of how you can set up your Connected Health Station.

4. Set Up the Speaker Stand

Start by placing tablet in stand with built-in speaker.

Plug the stand in power source using the supplied USB cable. Then plug in the supplied speaker cable.

Plug in the other end of speaker cable in the tablet.

Turn the speaker stand ON.

The speaker stand also has an onboard battery and can be used on battery power for several hours.

5. Check Battery Life

Before using the Cloud DX Tablet, plug your tablet's included power adapter plug into the 'DC Power' port on the right-hand side. If battery life is under 50%, allow the tablet to charge. Note that the tablet is designed to stay plugged into DC power (that is, plugged into a wall power outlet) continuously - do not use the tablet on battery power for more than 30 min to 1 hour at a time.

6. Power Up the Tablet

To switch on the tablet, press and hold the 'Power' button on the right-hand side of the device for at least 5 seconds. You will see an "Android" symbol appear on the screen as the tablet boots up.

7. Unlock the Tablet

To unlock the tablet enter the code provided from your Connected Health Kit. The default code will be entered by swiping in either a 'C' or 'L' pattern or entering the code '1234' (shown respectively).

8. Accept End User License Agreement (EULA)

The Connected Health app will launch automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions to accept Terms and Conditions.

By using our Services, you agree to our terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, then tap 'Accept'. Choosing to 'Decline' will prevent you from using our App and Services.

9. Log In to Your Account

Sign in to an existing account or create one to proceed (1). Ticking the 'Remember Me' checkbox will save your login information, so you will only have to enter it once. Tap 'Login' (2).

Registered users will see a pop-up asking them if they would like to sync reading reminders to their device. Selecting 'Yes' will ensure you get the best user experience.

10. Configure Wi-Fi Settings

If Wi-Fi is already configured, skip to step 10.4

If prompted to configure your Wi-Fi settings, tap ‘Yes’.

Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your network password to connect.

After entering your network password, tap 'Connect'.

10.4. Successful Connection

Once connected, you will automatically return to the login screen. Login when prompted.

11. Explore Main Menu

After logging in you will arrive at the 'Main Menu'. Your Health Station is now set up and ready to take your first readings.
