How Do I Change My Lockscreen Passcode?

By default, the password for your Connected Health tablet is set to a 'C' pattern. If you wish to make a change to your lock screen, this article will show you how to do so.

1. Tap 'Apps'

2. Tap 'Settings'

3. In the Settings menu, scroll down until you reach the 'Personal' header

Tap on 'Security' to open the security options.

4. Under the 'Screen Security' section, tap the 'Screen Lock' option.

5. Enter Your Current Passcode

Your current password is set to a 'C' pattern.

6. Select a New Lock Type for Your Device and Follow The On-screen Instructions

By default, your device is set to 'Pattern'.

 

Slide: This lock screen allows you to unlock your device by swiping your finger across the screen. This option is not recommended as it gives no protection. If you choose this method, you will need to enter your Cloud DX account password every time you open the Cloud DX application.

Face Unlock: This lock screen allows you to unlock your device by having the tablet camera recognize your face. In order for this feature to work, you need to take several minutes to "train" the camera to recognize you.

Pattern: This lock screen allows you to draw a pattern in order to unlock your device.

PIN: This lock screen allows you to enter a pin number in order to unlock your device. Your pin must be at least 4 digits long.

Password: This lock screen allows you to enter a password in order to unlock your device. Your password can contain both letters and numbers.

7. Testing New Passcode

To check if your passcode change was successful, put the tablet to sleep by pressing the power button on the right-hand side. The screen will turn black.

Wake the tablet up by pressing the power button again and unlock your tablet by entering the new password you just created.
